Cardinals on to World Series Wednesday, October 16th , 2047 The Springfield Cardinals are on to the World Series after a convincing series win over the Harrisburg Senators. Springfield wrapped up the series sweep with a 3-0 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Tyler Walker, who was named series MVP. For the series, Walker hit .400 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes. |
