Cameron Maxwell was a calming influence out of the Erie SeaWolves bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 22-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the American League Reliever of the Year for 2047.

He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 30. John Shutt of the Midland RockHounds finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Katsumi Omura of the Akron RubberDucks finished third with 1 first place vote.
