Best NL Reliever Named Monday, November 11th , 2047 He may only be 22, but Afanasy Apatenko of the Mobile BayBears has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the National League. The reliever was today named the NL Reliever of the Year winner for 2047. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 4 saves in 42 relief appearances and 60 strikeouts in 51 innings.
