It was a season to remember for Alfie Bungledorf. He was one of the most dangerous men in the league when he had a bat in his hand, and the American League announced today that he has won the Most Valuable Player Award for 2047.

The Birmingham shortstop dominated opposing pitchers with a .331 batting average, 18 doubles, 4 triples, 7 home runs and 45 RBIs while compiling a .416 on-base percentage and scoring 57 runs.

He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 30. Tomas Segarra of the Midland RockHounds finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Justin Alexander of the Arkansas Travelers finished third.
