Dunedin Sweeps into the Championship Series Monday, January 21st , 2047 The Dunedin Blue Jays appear poised to make a serious run at the World Series after a convincing sweep over the Charlotte Stone Crabs in the Division Series. It's now on to the Championship Series for Dunedin, who won the final game 5-1 and took the series 3-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Dunedin second baseman Norm Mercer, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Mercer hit .500 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
