Ports on to Championship Series Monday, January 21st , 2047 It was a sweet sweep for the Stockton Ports as they eased past the Daytona Tortugas to advance to the Championship Series. Stockton won the final game by a 3-1 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Gregg Power, who was named series MVP. For the series, Power hit .333 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
