High Desert Moves on to Championship Series Monday, January 21st , 2047 After their 1-0 win today at Calvin Falwell Field over the Bradenton Marauders, the High Desert Mavericks will advance to the Championship Series. High Desert won the series by a 3-0 margin. Leading the way for the Mavericks was catcher Zach Koblinski, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
