Nardone and Castro Fight, Get Suspended
Wednesday, January 17th , 2046
David Nardone of the Fort Myers Miracle and Luis Castro of the Bakersfield Blaze will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Miracle-Blaze game at Hammond Stadium.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Nardone and Castro will begin serving them soon.

This season Nardone is batting .265 with 30 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs, 7 walks, .328 OBP and has scored 16 runs. He has played in 34 games.

Castro has gone to the hill for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-2 record with a 4.43 ERA. The Bakersfield reliever has limited opposing batters to a .248 batting average.
