Carolina Defeats Dunedin Monday, February 12th , 2046 The Carolina Mudcats ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Dunedin Blue Jays 4-3 to win the World Series. Carolina won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 2nd time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Carolina manager John Rodd. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 37-13 and claimed second place in the A Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and center fielder Richello Badua said the Mudcats have "great fans and they deserve this."
