Winston-Salem Loses Warzecha for Season Tuesday, January 1st , 2047 Obviously disappointed, Mike Warzecha confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Winston-Salem second baseman offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 24-year-old Warzecha suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament on 12/31/2046 and has been out of action since. In his season totals Warzecha has 1 home run and a .333 batting average. |
