3-Homer Hat Trick for Vasquez Thursday, December 5th , 2047 Lynchburg first baseman Alex Vasquez blasted three homers today at Ed Smith Stadium in the 12-6 Hillcats victory over the Visalia Rawhide. For the game, Alex Vasquez scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Vasquez when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Vasquez told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
