Warzecha 5-for-5 for Dash Monday, December 9th , 2047 Mike Warzecha had an answer for everything the Wilmington Blue Rocks threw at him today at BB&T Ballpark. The Winston-Salem second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Dash on top, 8-5. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Warzecha said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Mike Warzecha hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Butch Ott in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. Warzecha is batting .474 with 1 home runs and 6 RBIs this season. |
