Lewis Has 17 Ks Wednesday, December 11th , 2047 Mitch Lewis of the Lynchburg Hillcats put on a pitching clinic today at Ed Smith Stadium as he struck out 17 Richmond Flying Squirrels in a 13-0 victory. Lewis was simply magnificent as he held the Flying Squirrels to 2 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Lewis said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Lewis's performance, Hillcats manager Edgardo Sandoval shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." |
