Injury Shuts Down Rudakovsky for Season Wednesday, December 18th , 2047 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Bradenton's Serguei Rudakovsky to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 12/17/2047 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Rudakovsky said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Rudakovsky has been out of action since he suffered a stretched elbow ligament. This year Rudakovsky has made 5 relief appearances, pitched 3.2 innings, and fashioned a 0-0 record with a 2.45 ERA. He has recorded 3 saves, struck out 7, and allowed opposing clubs to hit .214 when he is on the hill. |
