Saturday, December 21st , 2047
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Ryan Dyal of the Winston-Salem Dash had one of those moments when he went 6-for-6 at the plate today in the 15-4 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond.
"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."
Ryan Dyal doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kenjyu Watanabe in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
Dyal is currently hitting at a .370 pace with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and has scored 6 times.
