Polite Thwarts Lexington, 10-0 Tuesday, April 16th , 2047 Chris Polite kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Bowling Green Hot Rods were all smiles after winning 10-0 against the Lexington Legends at Bowling Green Ballpark today. The left-handed Polite gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 6 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Polite said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." |
