Paige Parks 3 HR in the Seats Friday, May 24th , 2047 Augusta GreenJackets left fielder Jared Paige left the Peoria pitching staff in ruins at Lake Olmstead Stadium today, beating the Chiefs 12-5 with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Paige told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Augusta left fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 4 and scored 3 runs. Jared Paige struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Nick Peters in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Kohsuke Naito in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Vince DeFord in the 7th. Paige is currently batting .255 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
