Molina on Fire, Strikes out 15 Snappers Monday, June 3rd , 2047 Cedar Rapids Kernels starter Bobby Molina brought his best stuff to Veterans Memorial Stadium today against the Beloit Snappers, striking out 15 batters in his club's 2-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 22-year-old Molina gave up 1 hit in his 6 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." This season Molina has 3 wins and 2 losses and a 4.13 ERA. |
