Burlington Bats Silenced by Daum Monday, July 29th , 2047 Jim Daum of the West Michigan Whitecaps permitted 4 hits, walked 0 and fanned 8 during the 1-0 shutout win over the Burlington Bees at Fifth Third Ballpark today. "I told him, 'You did good today,'" said West Michigan manager Mark Trumbo. "And I told him he'd better do good again next week."
