Knapp Hurls 6-0 Masterpiece Friday, August 2nd , 2047 Ben Knapp came out firing strikes and when the game ended, the Lansing Lugnuts hurler had struck out 9, leading Lansing past the Delmarva Shorebirds, 6-0. Knapp allowed just 6 hits in the ballgame. "I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said Delmarva manager Jake Scudder. So far this year Knapp has made 17 starts, tossed 118 innings, struck out 138 batters and walked 26. His record is 10-2 with a 2.14 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .206 batting average. |
