Four-bagger Feast: Ramirez Slugs 3 for Augusta

Augusta GreenJackets left fielder David Ramirez left the Hartford pitching staff in ruins at New Britain Stadium today, beating the Yard Goats 15-6 with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Ramirez told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the Augusta left fielder had 3 hits in 6 at-bats, drove in 5 and scored 3 runs.
David Ramirez flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ienari Kitahara in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Javy Arias in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Yuan-zhang Pi in the 9th.
