Season Over for Pye Thursday, August 22nd , 2047 In a news release, the Binghamton Mets announced that reliever Richard Pye would miss the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Pye sustained the injury on 08/19/2047. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. To date this year Pye has won 5 and lost 10 with a 3.90 ERA, no saves and 135 strikeouts in no relief appearances. |
