Injury Derails Season for Esquivel Thursday, August 29th , 2047 Obviously disappointed, Carlos Esquivel confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Atlanta (MID) reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 27-year-old Esquivel suffered a stretched elbow ligament on 08/26/2047 and has been out of action since. This season he has made 3 relief appearances, collecting no saves.
