Torrid August Gets Kellerman NL #1 Batter Trophy Sunday, September 1st , 2047 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Gregg Kellerman has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young West Virginia Power star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the National League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .337 average with 7 home runs, 16 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Kellerman is hitting .296 with 72 hits, 13 home runs, 41 RBIs and has scored 44 runs. |
