Yard Goats Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 12th , 2047 Fans of the Hartford Yard Goats have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the Yard Goats last missed the playoffs in 2045. In the 32 years they have been a Midwest League franchise, they have made the playoffs 25 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Yard Goats have missed the playoffs 0 times. Hartford last won the World Series in 2038. |
