American League Eastern Division Won: Lansing Crowned
Monday, September 16th , 2047
The Lansing Lugnuts have steamrolled their way to their 23rd American League Eastern Division crown.
With a current record of 110-31, Lansing can't be caught and have sewn up the division.
The team's celebration was a bit subdued, as the division hadn't really been in any doubt for quite some time. But manager Andrew Albers still said it's a fantastic accomplishment that makes him "extremely proud" of his team.
"Now we focus on winning a World Series," he said. "That's obviously the end goal."
The club will be vying for its 6th championship.
