West Michigan Loses Quiroga for Season Tuesday, September 17th , 2047 Obviously disappointed, German Quiroga confirmed today that his season is officially over. The West Michigan third baseman offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 19-year-old Quiroga suffered a ruptured achilles tendon on 09/14/2047 and has been out of action since. This year Quiroga has socked 90 hits in 436 at-bats for a .206 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .268 pace and his totals also include 44 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
