Torrid September Gets Hopper AL #1 Batter Trophy Tuesday, October 1st , 2047 For a rookie just breaking in, Brandon Hopper certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the AL Batter of the Month award for September. The 23-year-old left fielder for the Lake County Captains hit .355 with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This year Hopper has hit 15 home runs and posted a .266 batting average. |
