Injury Setback for Mets Bennett Wednesday, October 2nd , 2047 Binghamton reliever Matt Bennett has suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained hamstring. According to Mets officials, he will be out of action for one week. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Bennett will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters. Season-to-date Bennett has no saves in no relief appearances with a 6-11 record and 3.34 ERA. |
