Intimidators Heading to Conference Championship Thursday, October 17th , 2047 The fans in Kannapolis are celebrating the Intimidators victory over the Hickory Crawdads in the Division Championship. They defeated the Hickory Crawdads 4-0 in the finale played at CMC-NorthEast Stadium to capture the series 4-2. Ruben Velasco Jr. was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Intimidators right fielder batted .364, drove in 5 runs and scored 9 runs in the series. "The Crawdads are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Velasco Jr. said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes. |
