Best AL Reliever Named Saturday, November 23rd , 2047 He may only be 22, but Chris Kroesen of the Lansing Lugnuts has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the American League. The reliever was today named the AL Reliever of the Year winner for 2047. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 33 saves in 56 relief appearances and 110 strikeouts in 76 innings. He had a record of 2-3 to go with his 1.78 ERA. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 30. Manny Rolfe of the Delmarva Shorebirds finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Johnny Munoz of the Hickory Crawdads finished third.
