Heath Sensational, 15 Ks Sunday, June 16th , 2047 Hudson Valley Renegades starter Josh Heath brought his best stuff to Richmond County Bank Ballpark today against the Staten Island Yankees, striking out 15 batters in his club's 7-3 victory. In a strong performance, the 32-year-old Heath gave up 1 hit in his 7 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my cutter was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Up to now Heath has recorded a record of 7-4. In 14 starts he has fanned 129 batters in 84 innings with a 2.68 ERA. |
