White 5-for-5 Against Spikes Monday, August 19th , 2047 The West Virginia Black Bears swept past the State College Spikes 7-3 today at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, paced by right fielder Brandon White. The 21-year-old White got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Spikes. Brandon White singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Matt Doucet in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season, White has recorded a .288 batting average with 126 hits, 15 home runs, 63 RBIs, 70 runs scored and a .345 OBP. |
