Sunday, September 15th , 2047
In an excellent mound performance, Alberto Castillo of the Los Angeles (NYP) Dodgers whitewashed the Rome Braves 6-0 on a 4-hitter.
"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.
In all, the Los Angeles (NYP) hurler rang up 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win.
"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Braves manager James Zamarripa. "Castillo did a good job keeping us guessing."
This season he has made no relief appearances, collecting no saves. Castillo has worked 144.1 innings, yielding 109 hits and giving out 44 free passes while striking out 187. He has a 8-8 record with a 2.81 ERA.
