Chi Sparkles in 6-0 Whitewash of Eugene Friday, September 20th , 2047 A masterful pitching performance carried the Brooklyn Cyclones to a 6-0 victory over Eugene. Shan-tang Chi held the Emeralds scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 4 hits, had 8 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "Chi was sharp," Emeralds manager Seaver Whalen said later. "We never did figure him out." So far this season Chi has a 12-7 record, 21 starts, 144.1 innings, 156 strikeouts and a 3.12 ERA. |
