Lowell Out of Playoff Race Saturday, September 21st , 2047 The Lowell Spinners were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Spinners were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Lowell last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 28th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 31 times in their 32 - year history. |
