No Comeback This Season for Klein Monday, September 23rd , 2047 Obviously disappointed, Jack Klein confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Salem-Keizer starting pitcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 26-year-old Klein suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 09/21/2047 and has been out of action since. Klein has made 26 starts, tossed 116 innings, struck out 111 batters and walked 68. His record is 4-15 with a 6.59 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .263 batting average. |
