Oyler Guns Downs 15 Owlz Wednesday, July 24th , 2047 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Adam Oyler, the Detroit (APP) Tigers topped the Orem Owlz today by a score of 5-0 at Detroit Tigers Complex. The 22-year-old Oyler brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Owlz manager Dan Palazzo said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." Oyler has gone 6-5 this season with an ERA of 2.30 and 110 strikeouts in 86 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .195 against him. |
