Casteles Slams 3 Homers for Indians Monday, August 26th , 2047 Fans are still buzzing after Cleveland (APP) whipped the Princeton Rays by the score of 12-5 today at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. Anibal Casteles smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the catcher bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Casteles said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Casteles said. "Three is just... wow." Anibal Casteles flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Adam Householder in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Marc Furr in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Marc Furr in the 9th. So far this year Casteles is hitting .310 with 24 home runs. |
