Thursday, September 5th , 2047
Princeton second baseman Joshua Jackson blasted three homers today at H.P. Hunnicutt Field in the 19-5 Rays victory over the Greeneville Astros.
For the game, Joshua Jackson scored 3 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Jackson when he reached home plate.
"It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Jackson told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
Joshua Jackson hit a solo-shot off Manny Muniz in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ernie Bell in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Gong Tow in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
