3-HR Game for Gelinas Friday, September 6th , 2047 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Danny Gelinas discovered that today at Burlington Athletic Stadium, as he smashed three home runs during the 9-3 Orem Owlz win over the Burlington Royals. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Orem third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Gelinas finished the day with 3 hits in 3 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Danny Gelinas hit a solo-shot off Brian Hunt in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Paul Gibbens in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Jordan Viveros in the 8th. For the season Gelinas has produced 65 hits in 255 at-bats for a .255 average with 26 home runs and gotten on base at a .355 clip. |
