Yamasaki Slams 3 Deep for Detroit (APP)
Sunday, September 8th , 2047
Detroit (APP) left fielder Yasutaka Yamasaki led the Tigers to a 10-4 triumph over the Boston (APP) Red Sox, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Detroit (APP) skipper Joe Barrios.
Indeed, Yamasaki put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 5 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Yamasaki said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Yasutaka Yamasaki hit a solo-shot off Matt Collins in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Matt Collins in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Goodwin in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
Yamasaki is hitting .215 this year with 20 home runs and 55 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .326, 44 walks and scored 52 times.
