Player of the Week: Princeton's Turpin Monday, September 9th , 2047 Pitchers who faced the Princeton Rays last week were happy to see Adam Turpin in the rear-view mirror. The 21-year-old right fielder was dubbed the American League Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .615 clip. For the week he also chalked up 16 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Turpin is batting .352 with 142 hits and 23 home runs. He has scored 104 times and has 97 runs batted in. |
