Insley Has 20-Game Hitting Streak

Grand Junction first baseman Ray Insley keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.
His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Suplizio Field today. The Rockies took the 9-5 victory over the Miami (APP) Marlins.
"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Insley said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Ray Insley struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Danny Alvarez in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and walked in a run in the 7th.
Insley's current batting average stands at .409 and he has chalked up 48 home runs and 131 RBIs.
