Rowdy Players Suspended by League Friday, September 27th , 2047 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Billings-Grand Junction contest at Dehler Park. The Mustangs Martin Koka and the Rockies Mike Pierce will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Koka is batting .236 with 77 hits, 11 home runs, 49 RBIs, 38 walks, .340 OBP and has scored 47 runs. He has played in 110 games. Pierce has made 25 starts this season, posting 3 wins and 8 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .297 against him and he has 53 strikeouts in 93 innings with a 8.71 ERA. |
