Billy Grubbs Rockets 3 Home Runs Monday, October 7th , 2047 Billy Grubbs showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Seattle (APP) Mariners and sparked the Voyagers to a 15-8 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Centene Stadium." For the day, Grubbs collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 10 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Great Falls skipper Bay Buckley said. "Billy really put on a show." Billy Grubbs hit a three-run home run off Ron Skiles in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Domingo Maldonado in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Eric Dixon in the 7th. Grubbs is hitting .329 so far this season with 136 RBIs and 117 runs scored. He has 110 hits including 54 home runs, 69 walks and .453 OBP. |
