3-HR Dream Game for Magana Friday, October 11th , 2047 Ogden catcher Bob Magana blasted three homers today at Suplizio Field in the 18-6 Raptors victory over the Grand Junction Rockies. For the game, Bob Magana scored 3 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Magana when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Magana told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Bob Magana grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jerry Dunne in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Josh Alvarez in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Roman in the 9th. Magana is currently batting .268 with 16 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
