3 Boomers for Shinoda
Tuesday, October 29th , 2047
It was a good day for the Cleveland (APP) Indians and an exceptional one for Kenzo Shinoda. The 22-year-old center fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Indians beat the Great Falls Voyagers 16-2 at Cleveland Indians Complex.
"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Shinoda said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."
For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats.
Kenzo Shinoda singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Nate Woodard in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Rodolfo Valencia in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Toyotoshi Matsui in the 7th.
This season Shinoda is batting .338 with 144 hits, 25 home runs, 95 RBIs, 85 walks, .447 OBP and has scored 130 runs. He has played in 108 games.
