Reliever of the Year Goes to Enriquez

Ricky Enriquez was a calming influence out of the Johnson City Cardinals bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the National League Reliever of the Year for 2047.
The Guisa, Cuba native won the award with 19 saves in 46 relief appearances, 99 strikeouts in 74.1 innings and a record of 8-1 to go with his 2.30 ERA.
He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Scott Carr of the Kingsport Mets finished second in voting, while Conor Bailey of the Ogden Raptors finished third.
