Ridin' High: Isaev Hits for Cycle Wednesday, October 16th , 2047 University of Toronto first baseman Efrem Isaev had a stellar day today at Reckling Park. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 5 runs batted in and was instrumental in the 14-5 Marlies victory over the Rice University Owls. "I felt just about perfect up there," Isaev said. Efrem Isaev struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Shan Ping in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. In 50 games Isaev is hitting .359 this season with 66 hits, 18 home runs, 57 RBIs, 29 walks, .438 OBP and has scored 49 runs. |
